Energy eigenfunctions of the 1D Gross-Pitaevskii equation    [PDF]

The energy eigenstates and eigenvalues for the 1D Grosss--Pitaevskii--equation for three different potentials have been determined numerically. For that a new and powerful algrorithm has been developed which is capable to work also in the regime of strong nonlinearities. The numerically found solutions completely agree with the case of known analytical solutions.
